INSTRUCTOR BIO:

Hello there! My name is Dylan Thomas Cotter. For 32 years of my life, I avoided mirrors and having my photo taken as much as one can. I hated how I looked and it took a significant toll on my overall well-being. I began my physical transition in January of 2016. In January of 2019, I decided to build an Instagram account as a therapeutic test to become more comfortable with my personal appearance and to seek out connections with others like myself.

As I became more comfortable in my body as a queer transgender man, I decided to apply my professional marketing skills to my own personal brand. I targeted followers and decided to reach out to brands that resonated with me.

In a little over a year, I successfully developed an audience of over 11,000 and business relationships, strategic partnerships, affiliations and event partnerships with Scruff, Pure For Men, Levi Strauss & Co., Skull and Bones NY, Philip Normal, Brooklyn Brewery, Revive Superfoods, #ILoveGay LGBT, MedMen, AMASS, Rudy’s Barbershop, Los Angeles LGBT Center’s Trans* Lounge and the Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative (SIGBI).

Professionally I currently own and operate a boutique marketing and design agency. I have had clients featured by Apple, The Los Angeles Tourism and Convention Board and have been sub-contracted to create and manage social media content for some of the world’s most popular music legacy accounts. Prior to opening my own business, I served as the Creative Strategist at Cinelease, Inc. – a Hertz company and the world’s largest motion picture lighting and grip equipment supplier. Before being recruited by Cinelease, Inc. I held the title of Associate Creative Director at Mole-Richardson Company – North America’s largest motion picture lighting equipment manufacturer.

I truly hope you will afford me the opportunity to be a part of your personal brand’s success in sharing my proven strategy with you. I am a firm believer that when one trans and/or enby community member does well that it helps us collectively move the needle forward creating positive visibility, awareness and creates more opportunities and respect for our vibrant community.

Take advantage of my professional expertise and reserve your spot soon. I look forward to helping you achieve your goals!  – Dylan
